Under the direction and supervision of the Director, the Toddler Head Teacher will be responsible for the safety and well-being of the toddlers in our program and the assigned classroom. The teacher is responsible for ensuring the children’s social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development in program. The teacher creates a supportive environment and quality experience focused on our YMCA core values of caring, honesty, inclusion, respect, and responsibility.
This individual serves in a clinical capacity as a Primary Clinical Counselor and carries an assigned caseload of adults with mental health, substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders. All clinical services are offered in compliance with agency requirements for licensure and accreditation. Service provision includes evaluative services, clinical treatment, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning, as well as monitoring client progress related to psychotropic medication.
